Xiaguan Tea Factory （下关茶叶厂） Xiaguan Tea Factory is located in Xiaguan, near the old city of Dali (大理), and is especially famous for the production of 'tuocha ' (沱茶). This region of Yunnan has a very good temperate climate with clean water and tall mountains, which of course they attribute to the quality of their teas. 'Tuocha' has a characteristic bowl-shape that was said to be developed for easy transport on caravans and ease of trade. Tuocha was first produced in Xiaguan in 1902, although the Xiaguan Tea Factory was officially established in 1941.
The Tibetan Mushroom Tea is a favorite because of its unique and cool shape. Xiaguan tea factory has been producing Tibetan Baoyan Mushroom raw Pu-erh for a long long time. It is consumed by the people of western Yunnan and Tibet as a staple. The tea provides the classic health benefits of pu-erh, it is a wonderful tea for discovery.
1941年康藏茶廠開始生產專供西藏（藏區）的“寶焰牌”蘑菇沱。
解放後，中國茶葉公司雲南省公司指定下關茶廠為蘑菇沱的唯一生產廠家，下關茶廠成為蘑菇沱最大的生產廠家。
當時銷往藏區的有邊銷磚、蘑菇沱等形狀的緊壓茶，相對於蘑菇沱，邊銷磚的用料更為細碎，價格也更便宜。
文革期間，該茶停止生產，1986年班禪額爾德尼視察下關茶廠，並訂購了700擔寶焰沱，
從些寶焰沱在下關恢復生產至今。而86年班禪定制的這批沱也被稱之為班禪緊沱，目前存市數量少，價格不菲。

該茶條索扁長，顏色深栗，沖泡後湯色黃栗，氣味純正帶青葉香，滋味苦澀，水細薄利，燥喉微甘；
茶韻為青韻，茶氣淡弱，葉底黃栗。滋味醇厚，回甘生津，茶性溫和可口。
